12 Minutes: Filmmaking is deceptively time-consuming. Coming out with a story, writing a working script, shooting, editing, it all takes much more time than it looks. A good friend of mine recently produced this short for the 48 Hour Film Project. The end result is a very fun short, all the more impressive because of the restraints. Enjoy!
True Blood – Season 5: violent and profane as a series about vampires should be, given the characters. Frankenweenie: the inspiration of this story is obvious, and it is, for the most part, a nice little re-imagining of the story. As this is a Tim Burton’s film, it has the expected mix of bizarre and slightly perverse, which nevertheless feel a bit out of place.
