Love, Guaranteed: Mark Steven Johnson’s romantic comedy gives all indications it’s going through a shopping list: a somewhat preposterous concept? Check. A good-looking couple? Check. Colorful minor characters, charming location? Check and check! Now, being this formulaic doesn’t preclude it from being entertaining and feel-good, even if it is fluffy and forgettable. Rachael Leigh Cook is fine and cute as an honest lawyer, and so is Damon Wayans Jr. as her disillusioned client. The supporting performances get heavier in the comic side, most notably Sean Amsing. The film is capably but indifferently done, its greatest asset the short and to-the-point running time.
