Fifth about The Seventh

Steve Jobs

Steve JobsSteve Jobs: Danny Boyle’s film is a non-traditional biopic, elucidative without being didactic, more interested in the character than in his life, and so much more touching and the better for it. Aaron Sorkin’s screenplay is a thing of beauty: the structure is engaging, while the dialogue comes quick and is sharp, spellbinding. It’s also perfectly delivered by the wonderful cast: Michael Fassbender, Kate Winslet, Jeff Daniels, Seth Rogen are all great. Daniel Pemberton’s music fits perfectly. Alwin H. Küchler camerawork is solid, compelling (as is the choice to use different film stocks for different time periods).
