The Ghost Writer

January 6, 2013 by Felipe Rosa

The White Ribbon

January 6, 2013 by Felipe Rosa

‎The White Ribbon: formal, tough, brutal. Beautifully shot, but cold as ice. It’s the kind of movie that can suck the hope out of your chest.

Ajami

January 6, 2013 by Felipe Rosa

Il Divo

January 6, 2013 by Felipe Rosa

The Last Station

January 6, 2013 by Felipe Rosa

The Last Station: Helen Mirren is, as usual, great. Plummer is OK, nothing out of this world. The movie as a whole is meh.

The Messenger

January 6, 2013 by Felipe Rosa

‎The Messenger: good, strong acting but lacking something. Some of the connections felt too sudden. War sucks, however.
