Tune in for Love: Jung Ji-woo’s sugary romantic tale of a pair of star-crossed lovers is cute and pleasurable but eminently disposable and forgettable. The two main characters are charming, but more as a couple than as individuals; by themselves, they are not in any way memorable. That is not on the back of the young lead performers: Kim Go-eun and Jung Hae-in both look good, have fine chemistry, and emote well; Park Hae-joon creates a fine, sleazy antagonist of sorts. The film is generally well-made, but not particularly remarkable; the passage of time is noticeable, more so for Kim than for Jung, a sign of good costume and hair & make-up design.
