Casting a Ballot – 90th Oscars®

The 90th Academy Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, March 4th, 2018.

As I have been doing for a few years, after posting my ballots for many guild awards, I post my fictional ballot for the Oscars. These “votes” show who I would like to win; the vote for Best Picture follows the rule of preferential ballot used in reality. As a rule, I abstain from my fictional vote if I haven’t seen at least half of the nominees. And, to be perfectly clear, I’m not a member of AMPAS.
