Shaun the Sheep Movie: there’s not much to the story that Mark Burton and Richard Starzak tell: it’s light, naïve, entertaining and the lack of thematic depth is not missed one bit. The film, which does not resort to dialogue, results nevertheless in a very funny experience. The sound design is an important piece, and very well executed. The characters are well-designed (in such a way that the main characters are immediately distinguishable), and the claymation technique, as painstaking as it is, flawlessly made.
