Fifth about The Seventh

The Salesman (Forushande)

The SalesmanThe Salesman: Asghar Farhadi presents an emotionally complex narrative (a sort of whodunit where who did it is the least important issue at hand); most of it (but, alas, not all of it) flows very realistically, organically and the result is a punch to the gut. The reason for that is because we get to care for the well-being of the characters, both physically and, more important even, spiritually (so to say). Shahab Hosseini is very strong in his role, as is Taraneh Alidoosti; in fact, acting in general is natural, appealing. Well put together technically.
