Fifth about The Seventh

Inception

Inception: quite impressive, for summer fare particularly but not only. Fascinating story, some awesome action set pieces, great editing. I don’t think it’s Christopher Nolan’s best work (Memento and The Dark Knight are better). One thing bothered me: Ellen Page is used a bit too much for exposition purposes. I could have done without some of her dialogues. I like when the director trusts that I can understand stuff.

  1. I enjoyed Memento, but I wouldn’t say that I liked it more than Inception; perhaps that’s because I saw Inception first. I don’t know. I also didn’t have any problems with using Page for exposition, but I understand your point.
