If Anything Happens I Love You: the animation in Will McCormack and Michael Govier’s short is simple (not unattractive at all, simply very clean), but the art of animation is the best way to tell this story and keep its punch. This film is touching, powerful, mandatory, even. The less one knows about its story, the better; in that sense, Netflix is doing the film a disservice with its on-site synopsis.
