Fifth about The Seventh

Nocturnal Animals

Nocturnal AnimalsNocturnal Animals: Tom Ford is able to balance three different storylines, allowing all of them to be interesting; the film has a certain coldness to it, but it’s nevertheless an engaging experience. In particular, the film holds very well in the more thrilling parts. The main reason is that the cast both looks great and is in fine, very fine, shape; Amy Adams, the main name, has an interesting character to play and does so rather well. The film is very well-crafted; beautiful locations and production design, well captured by cinematographer Seamus McGarvey, smartly edited by Joan Sobel. The score of Abel Korzeniowski is very evocative, at times Herrmannian.
