Fifth about The Seventh

Jules and Dolores (O Roubo da Taça)

O Roubo da TaçaJules and Dolores: Caito Ortiz’s work is lightweight entertainment, a farce inspired by real facts (which actually contain the most farcical elements of them all); the plot, however, has some spots where it barely is able to stand on its own (curiously, when it veers away from what is considered to be the truth). As a result, the pace is somewhat uneven, as if the screenplay ran out of gas and could not be saved by the editing. The cast is fine shape, with Paulo Tiefenthaler in a strong comedic performance and Taís Araújo, looking great. The highlight, however, is the spot-on art direction of Fábio Goldfarb.
