Rams: Grímur Hákonarson little gem of a movie mixes in unusual setting and starting point with a common underlying narrative; it turns out to be entertaining (it’s funny at the perfectly right moments), touching and very humane. The acting, as the general tone of the film, is subdued, low-key, but perfectly appropriate; Sigurður Sigurjónsson is great in his role. Shot classically and beautifully by Sturla Brandth Grøvlen, who makes beautiful use of the locations.
