Argo: a revisit doesn’t show much that wasn’t known before. An entertaining thriller made with a lot of confidence. The basis of it all is a good story, one of those that are to fantastical to not be true. (A note: it’s somewhat irrelevant how close to fact this is, since this is not a documentary. Entertainment is the main objective; enlightenment comes second.) The light tone at times add to the entertainment value, and the excellent cast is a very important factor to make it all work. The sub-text is not subtly presented, but it’s there and it’s meaningful.
