Cars 2: once more, Pixar is dazzling with the visual creativity, with an expansion of the world seen in the original. As far as story goes, this is certainly more to the light side for their recent standards; also, thematically, it doesn’t feel right at home with what they did in Cars. That would be the main weakness in a very fun movie. (But still, incidentally, one lap ahead of both DWA and BlueSky).
